It’s another trip to Bangkok!
This time around we decided to stay in the swanky Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong.
During our last trip, the hotel was not ready for operation, but it had since
open its doors for travellers.
Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong
Opening its doors in February 2024, Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is a fresh,
vibrant energy to Bangkok’s hotel scene. While it may be designed with youth
in mind, those young at heart (like me) would love the vibrant vibes.
The Hotel shares the same building as The Market Shopping Mall. While the
Hotel Lobby is on Level 9, you access the Lobby via the first floor. The
entrance is on the left side of the building (facing the road, next to Big C).
It may be challenging for taxi drivers, so stand by your Google Maps for
assistance.

Check-in
The check-in experience at Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is anything but
ordinary.
Instead of a traditional desk, guests are welcomed at a stylish bar
counter.
Enjoy check-in treats like juice served in shot glasses and snacks.
Popcorn and games add to the fun, ensuring our arrival is as entertaining as
smooth.
Marriott Bonvoy elite members are treated to a lucky draw and we got ourselves
a mini bear.
The Lobby
The lobby is one of the most vibrant we have experienced and undoubtedly the
highlight of the hotel
Forget about grand chandeliers, instead you have this huge industrial space
where you can relax and socialize.
With a football table, pool table, and games table, it’s perfect for friendly
competitions or casual hangouts.
Plenty of instragramable backdrops including a rustic food truck.
While the outdoor area offers a great spot to unwind.
The Room
Our stay in the Queen room, while compact at 18sqm, was both functional and
stylish.
The first thing that strikes you when you enter is the gorgeous unblock view
of the city.
The room features a queen-sized bed and ample space to move around despite the
size.
The decor is playful and hip, with quirky elements like an old-school phone
and a pink elephant hanger.
The black-and-white bathroom, accented with a pop of pink, fits the Moxy
brand’s vibrant aesthetic. Amenities are provided.

Other Facilities
Library
The hotel offers a variety of facilities to enhance your stay. The library
provides a cosy spot to relax or hold meetings.
Gym
The gym is equipped with running machines, basic weights, and a punching bag
for a quick workout.
Resturant
There is an in-house restaurant serving breakfast and meals around the day.

Around Moxy
One of the main draws of Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is its prime
location.
It’s just a 1-minute walk to Big C, 3 minutes to Centralworld, 7 minutes to
Platinum Mall, and 10 minutes to Chit Lom.
While traffic can be heavy during peak hours, the convenience of being close
to major shopping and dining areas is a significant advantage. There is a
direct lift from the lobby to the R bridge.
Verdict
Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is a fantastic choice for those who value a vibrant
atmosphere and a central location.
Though the rooms are on the smaller side, the lively common areas and
excellent location more than makeup for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and
will definitely return for our next trip!
